بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ، حَمْدًا يُوَافِيْ نِعَمَهُ وَيُكَافِئُ مَزِيْدَهُ، يَا رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ كَمَا يَنْبَغِيْ لِجَلَالِ وَجْهِكَ وَعَظِيْمِ سُلْطَانِكَ.
All praise is due to Allāh, Lord of the worlds — a praise matching His favours and equalling His increase. O our Lord, to You is due praise, as befits the majesty of Your face and the greatness of Your sovereignty.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، صَلَاةً تُنْجِيْنَا بِهَا مِنْ جَمِيْعِ الْأَهْوَالِ وَالْآفَاتِ، وَتَقْضِيْ لَنَا بِهَا مِنْ جَمِيْعِ الْحَاجَاتِ، وَتُطَهِّرُنَا بِهَا مِنْ جَمِيْعِ السَّيِّئَاتِ، وَتَرْفَعُنَا بِهَا عِنْدَكَ أَعْلَى الدَّرَجَاتِ، وَتُبَلِّغُنَا بِهَا أَقْصَى الْغَايَاتِ، مِنْ جَمِيْعِ الْخَيْرَاتِ، فِي الْحَيَاةِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَمَاتِ.
O Allāh, send blessings upon our master Muḥammad — a blessing by which You deliver us from every terror and calamity, fulfil for us every need, purify us of every sin, raise us with You to the highest ranks, and cause us to reach the furthest limit of every good, in this life and after death.
سُبْحَانَكَ لَا نُحْصِيْ ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ، كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ. فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَتَّى تَرْضَى، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ إِذَا رَضِيْتَ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ بَعْدَ الرِّضَى.
Glory be to You — we cannot enumerate praise upon You as You have praised Yourself. To You is praise until You are pleased; to You is praise when You are pleased; and to You is praise after Your pleasure.
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ فِي الْأَوَّلِيْنَ، وَصَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ فِي الْآخِرِيْنَ، وَصَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ فِي الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَى إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ، وَصَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ حَتَّى تَرِثَ الْأَرْضَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِيْنَ.
O Allāh, send blessings upon our master Muḥammad among the first, and bless and grant peace upon our master Muḥammad among the last, and bless and grant peace upon our master Muḥammad in the highest assembly until the Day of Judgment, and bless and grant peace upon our master Muḥammad until You inherit the earth and all who are upon it — and You are the best of inheritors.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ وَأَوْصِلْ وَتَقَبَّلْ ثَوَابَ مَا قَرَأْنَاهُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ الْعَظِيْمِ، وَمَا هَلَّلْنَاهُ مِنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَمَا اسْتَغْفَرْنَاهُ، وَمَا قُلْنَاهُ مِنْ يَا اللهُ، وَمَا صَلَّيْنَاهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِيْ هٰذِهِ السَّاعَةِ الْمُبَارَكَةِ، هَدِيَّةً مِنَّا وَاصِلَةً، وَرَحْمَةً مِنْكَ نَازِلَةً، وَبَرَكَةً شَامِلَةً، نُقَدِّمُهَا وَنُهْدِيْهَا إِلَى حَضْرَةِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. ثُمَّ إِلَى أَرْوَاحِ أَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ وَالتَّابِعِيْنَ، وَتَابِعِي التَّابِعِيْنَ لَهُمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ.
O Allāh, make to reach and accept the reward of what we have recited of the Mighty Qur'an, what we have proclaimed of 'There is no god but Allāh', what we have asked of forgiveness, what we have said of 'O Allāh', and what we have invoked of blessings upon the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ — in this blessed hour, as a gift from us reaching them, a mercy from You descending, and an encompassing blessing. We offer and gift it to the presence of our master Muḥammad, the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ; then to the souls of his wives, descendants, companions, the followers, and the followers of the followers in goodness until the Day of Judgment.
اَللّٰهُمَّ (أَوْصِلْ) ثَوَابًا مِثْلَ ثَوَابِ ذٰلِكَ، مَعَ مَزِيْدِ بِرِّكَ وَإِحْسَانِكَ، إِلَى أَرْوَاحِ مَنِ اجْتَمَعْنَا هَٰهُنَا بِسَبَبِهِمْ. وَخُصُوْصًا إِلَى رُوْحِ الْمَرْحُوْمِ ... بِنْ ... وَأُصُوْلِهِ وَفُرُوْعِهِ وَمَنْ يَنْتَسِبُ إِلَيْهِ أَجْمَعِيْنَ.
O Allāh, convey a reward like that — with the increase of Your goodness and grace — to the souls of those on whose account we have gathered here; and especially to the soul of the deceased [name] son of [name], and to his forebears, descendants, and all who are related to him.
إِلَى رُوْحِ الْمَرْحُوْمَةِ ... بِنْتِ ... وَأُصُوْلِهَا وَفُرُوْعِهَا وَمَنْ يَنْتَسِبُ إِلَيْهَا أَجْمَعِيْنَ.
…to the soul of the deceased [name] daughter of [name], and to her forebears, descendants, and all who are related to her.
أَوْصِلِ اللّٰهُمَّ ثَوَابَ ذٰلِكَ مِنَّا إِلَيْهِمْ، وَاجْعَلْهُ نُوْرًا يَسْعَى وَيَتَلَأْلَأُ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيْهِمْ. وَضَاعِفِ اللّٰهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ وَرِضْوَانَكَ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَيْهِمْ.
O Allāh, convey the reward of that from us to them, and make it a light running and shining before them. O Allāh, multiply Your mercy and Your pleasure upon us and upon them.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ فَكَاكًا لَهُمْ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَنَجَاةً لَهُمْ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَسِتْرًا لَهُمْ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَفِدَاءً لَهُمْ مِنَ النَّارِ.
O Allāh, make it their ransom from the Fire, their rescue from the Fire, their shelter from the Fire, and their redemption from the Fire.
اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ.
O Allāh, forgive him, have mercy on him, grant him well-being, and pardon him. — (if the deceased is male)
اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهَا وَارْحَمْهَا وَعَافِهَا وَاعْفُ عَنْهَا.
O Allāh, forgive her, have mercy on her, grant her well-being, and pardon her. — (if the deceased is female)
اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ وَعَافِهِمْ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ.
O Allāh, forgive them, have mercy on them, grant them well-being, and pardon them. — (if there are many deceased)
ثُمَّ ثَوَابًا مِثْلَ ثَوَابِ ذٰلِكَ إِلَى أَرْوَاحِ وَالِدِيْنَا وَمَشَائِخِنَا وَوَالِدِيْهِمْ وَمَشَائِخِهِمْ وَجَمِيْعِ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ، مِنْ مَشَارِقِ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا. اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِيْ صَحَائِفِنَا وَصَحَائِفِ وَالِدِيْنَا وَالسَّادَاتِ الْحَاضِرِيْنَ وَوَالِدِيْهِمْ، عُمَّ الْجَمِيْعَ بِالرَّحْمَةِ وَالرِّضْوَانِ، وَأَدْخِلْنَا وَإِيَّاهُمْ فِيْ فَسِيْحِ الْجِنَانِ، يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ، يَا بَدِيْعَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ.
Then a reward like that to the souls of our parents, our teachers, their parents, their teachers, and all Muslims from the east and west of the earth. O Allāh, place [it] in our records and the records of our parents and the honoured ones present and their parents; encompass all with mercy and pleasure, and admit us and them into the vast gardens of Paradise. O Most Loving, O Bestower, O Originator of the heavens and the earth, O Possessor of Majesty and Honour.
اَللّٰهُمَّ انْقُلْهُمْ مِنْ ضِيْقِ الْقَبْرِ وَاللُّحُوْدِ، إِلَى جَنَّاتِكَ جَنَّاتِ الْخُلُوْدِ، إِلَى ظِلٍّ مَمْدُوْدٍ، وَمَاءٍ مَسْكُوْبٍ، وَفَاكِهَةٍ كَثِيْرَةٍ لَا مَقْطُوْعَةٍ وَلَا مَمْنُوْعَةٍ، وَفُرُشٍ مَرْفُوْعَةٍ، مَعَ الَّذِيْنَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَالصِّدِّيْقِيْنَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِيْنَ، وَحَسُنَ أُولٰئِكَ رَفِيْقًا. يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.
O Allāh, transfer them from the narrowness of the grave and its chambers to Your gardens of eternity — to extended shade, flowing water, abundant fruit never cut off nor forbidden, and raised couches — together with those upon whom You have bestowed favour among the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions. O Most Merciful of the merciful.
وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ. اَلْفَاتِحَة.
May Allāh send blessings upon our master Muḥammad and upon his family and companions, and grant them peace. And all praise is due to Allāh, Lord of the worlds. Al-Fātiḥah.
